Almost anytime a beam system is used to fill in between beams that span columns is placed where the members are placed at some equal spacing. The beam system allows for this through the pattern/ layout rule/ # of lines. If the system has three equal spaces the # of lines would be 2. My wish concerns allowing the beam system tag to access the # of lines as a parameter that can be used in the tag. The tag would read "30K @ (3) equal spaces" As it stands setting up the tag with the parameters available you would get "30k @ 4'-7 34/256"" Add one parameter to the hard coded beam system tag to help 95% of people that use column and beam structure.
