Troubles in 3D view with IFC file

Hello friends,

I'm taking a master's degree in BIM Manager and I am experiencing a rare issue when working with IFC files. I'm working in a collaborative role with a 2016 Revit educational license and we are actually checkng clashes with Solibri MC.

The issue happens when some colleagues upload the IFC files to google drive and I try to open them into Revit. I can open the IFC file but I cannot see any 3D view or elevation view of the project. Just top views.

I have tried the following:

  - I have opened another project made by me.

  - I have saved it as IFC.

  - I have opened that IFC and I get the same issue that with the "collaborative" IFC file.

So I understand it is a configuration problem of my program.

I have also tried to activate all VG boxes and the issue persist.

I have also tried to swap (in 3D view) between 3d and top view clicking on the 3D Cube.

I can see all 3D views of any RVT file, even the RVT file of the "collaborative project".

Can anyone give me any advice?

Thank you guys!!

Hi guys. I have just discovered the issue.

I don't know why but in some cases, when opening ifc, it gets open with a selected phase in the "Phase creating" box (properties menu). If you change it to "None", everithing appears in the views.

Greetings!!
