I received notice from AutoDesk regarding an August 3, 2019 Transport Layer
Security (TLS) update. The notice directs me to this link
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/downloads/caas/downloa
ds/content/autodesk-transport-layer-security-updates-require-revit-security-
fix.html . I missed the following statement on that page which answers my
question.
** Revit Personal Accelerator Security Fix for Windows 7/8/8.1 (.Net 4.5.2)
is intended to be applied on any Windows Operating Systems which do not
support .Net 4.7. After this security fix is applied successfully, the build
number specified within Windows>Programs and Features for the Personal
Accelerator for Revit application will be 20.0.9.0. The display name of this
deliverable was Personal Accelerator for Revit 2018 Security Fix and
Personal Accelerator for Revit 2016.1 Security Fix and were renamed to be
more clear on when to apply the fix.
