When uploading a model to R4C, it gets hung up on 'uploading model to A360' step.

I have to cntl-alt-del to exit revit.

It does however upload to A360.

We have a known issue that this can happen if you have a 3D perspective view open during model onboarding.  Can you confirm this is the case?

Started a new file, in plan.  Made sure all other views were closed. Problem still persisted.

Dumb question. Does everyone that has access to the shared model in R4C have to pay $100 month?  Seems high to me.

Thanks.

Then is sounds like you instanbce of Revit is having issues communicating with the C4R service itself.  Without sending my your Journal files, I can't really say for sure.

One thing we have seen, is that other Revit addons break C4R by modifying core Rev it files that they shouldn't be touching.  The fix in that case is to reaplce the Revit.exe.config file with a "good one".  If you're up for that, I've attached jujst such a file, and you shoulkd replace the existing one typically located at "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2015".  If it still fails, then a support interaction is required to diagnose why your Revit instance can't connect with the C4R service.

Regarding pricing, the $100/user/month ($800/user/year) cost is for the team members that need to actively work on the cloud workshared models in C4R.  Other team members can be free Project Contributors on A360.

Thanks Kyle,

Nope, the new Revit.exe.config didn't work.

I guess it's a moot point now.  $100/month/person is too expensive for our team.

Thanks nonetheless.

That crash is an unfortunate "exit defect" that was introduced in C4R v3, and fixed in the recently released C4R v4.  Sorry you were impacted.
