We are a small shop starting a job with a GC that has stipulated Live Linking the MEP models. I've seen a similar question posted here, but what I specifically want to know is whether I need BIM Collaborate Pro to perform the Live-Link function for our model or not. I'm certain we will end up with BCP eventually, but I was hoping we weren't going to get forced into it this soon.
I don't understand the specific file relationships with Live-Link yet. The GC is using Autodesk Construction Cloud/B360 for document management. Is it enough to publish our model to the appropriate folder in the project site and keep it current with Desktop Connector? Will those sequential updates break the other team member's live-link connections? Is live-link a feature restricted to BCP between cloud models hosted by Autodesk, or can it be used with any file model sharing platform?
I could likely call people to receive this answer, but since I didn't see it here yet and feel it is an important distinction not yet clarified by Autodesk, its probably important to post here where others can find it.

Not a direct answer but I was in a similar situation and the client provided us with a license. Just throwing that out there.
