I created zones on my floor plans and needed to assign colors to each zone. I did this through the Color Scheme button on properties and also through the Analyze tab. It allowed me to assign the colors, however, when I apply it, there are not changes. The background stays white. I went on Visibility/Graphics and made sure that both the HVAC zones and the Spaces were visible, but there were still no changes. I have unchecked the revit links model categories for HVAC zones and Spaces, just in case is was layered on top of my model, but that didn't work either. I am running out of options to get the colors to show. Any other suggestions? Thank you.
My best guess would be that the Color Fill checkbox within the HVAC Zones category is unchecked, as per the image below.
Hi Herman,
Yes I had tried that already as well and it didn't help. Thank you though.
Let's go back to basics, to ensure we are not missing something silly:
1. HVAC Zones only shows in a Hidden Line Visual Style
2. HVAC Zones will not recognise the Room Bounding properties of the linked file when the view's (or plan region's) cut plane is above the top constraint of the space
3. Have the HVAC Zones Category been hidden
- By category?
- By element?
- By a filter?
- Through a workset?
4. Are you using phasing? The HVAC Zones might be on a previous phase, thus not visible.
