Wrong elevation when i input equation for roof

I am trying to change the elevation of my roof on revit and when i put the equation =1" 9 1/2"+8 and press enter 9' 9 1/2" shows but its suppose to be 2" 5 1/2" im not sure why but when i try to put other equations it just says they are invalid input for elevation formulas cannot refer to other parameters

It looks to me that revit is taking that 8 at the end as feet and not inches so its seeing 1'-9 1/2" + 8', and the the math makes sense. Add some parenthesis or, add the " symbol to the 8 or use 0 8 to say 0feet 8"
