Can you please explain what is it that you want to do? What is the question?

I create one family Window.

I have prepared  parameters that drive the panel widths and, consequenlty , symbol lines that show if panel is fixed/hopper/swing.

For firefighting BoQ I need to fill escape door width/height just the openable panel (Type of a family).

I want all windows in same schedule but once filled the W1 parameter it will be shown indipendently if the panel is fixed or swing one.

I DO NOT want to show parameter W1 if panel is fixed because confusing.

You can use a yes/no parameter in example, but hide this in your schedule. Then instead use a calculated field to show the text you want if it is turned on and empty/space (" ") if turned off.

It is not a proper solution but you gave me inspiration .
I can use it as a formula inside revit family itself.
