Windows 10 and Content Libraries

This is not another thread about "Revit does not install the content libraries", rather I cannot "Modify my content libraries!"

The Modify button is grayed out for both 2016 and 2017 when I try to modify the installation to add other content.  Has anyone figured out a way to make the installation run without selecting it under Apps & Features other than running the entire installation again?

Hi @Anonymous,

There is actually a separate installer for these versions. Your antivirus may be blocking this when download. I would suggest disabling and downloading from the virtual agent

@matthew.d

Sorry....what part of "Already installed" and "cannot install other versions" did you not understand?

Take a look at the attached picture....the Modify is grayed out, meaning I cannot select it to get to the "Add/Remove Features" of the Revit 201X Content Libraries.

So basically...if you did not read my entire post...you are saying I have to reinstall.  Looking for other options.

Hi @Anonymous,

I've read it, which is why I mentioned reinstalling with from a different location with your antivirus disabled. Please keep in mind, this is a public answer and I am trying to provide a complete answer for anyone possibly coming to it at a later point.

Well...don't I feel sheepish... So with a leap of faith I did click Uninstall and I do get the Add/Remove screen.  Was worried that Windows 10 would just automatically uninstall like the other programs I decided I didn't want and never got other options.

Ignore my rant...didn't get much sleep last night.
