Width of Parametric Array

I am working on a a family of roof panels and have created a parametric array that works except I cannot adjust the length of the panels.  When I lock the first two to the ref planes  I get an error message about constraints.

1. Can you do away with the system Sloped Glazing?  Easier and no messing around with arraying.

2. "Lock the first two to reference planes", if not done carefully, can cause over-constraint.  Share the family if you want it looked at.

Maybe, didn’t consider that. Sounds like it might be a little out of my league.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast.

It is fairly simple, similar to curtain walls.  Way more flexible than a parametric array family in terms of shapes and sizes.

If I am reading you correctly, you are locking opposite ends of an element and Arraying it -- with the hope, I presume of controlling the Arrayed elements' lengths. Can't do that. It's problematic at best.

Ok I will try it – with trepidation. It is so easy to spend a whole day messing with something like this.

Yes, but look at all the days that are freed up once you learn this.  You'll have so much more time to mess with something else! Smiley Wink
