- Turn on Section box and see if it clips the roof?

- Edit the roof boundary and check if these lines drawn by Pick Lines (overhang is not available) instead of Pick Walls (overhang is available).

- Edit the roof boundary and check if these lines have an Offset from base value.

- Or simply select an odd roof boundary line, and compare its properties with a roof boundary line that behaves normally.

I've done so, my section box is turned on and it doesn't clip the roof,
also I have an overhang on of 600m and all the lines drawn using pick lines
and pick walls are all available, I still don't know why the front and back
edges of the roof are still appearing as clipped

The lines were drawn using Pick Lines, not Pick Walls, so the Overhang is not available for those.  See the difference below:

Pick Lines:

Pick Walls:

You need to draw all the lines consistently, use Pick Lines or Pick Walls, not both.  Also, if you draw using Pick Walls, don't offset the lines manually because Overhang value already controls the Offset distance from walls.

In your case, since you don't have wall at the porch, I would draw all lines using Pick Lines.  If you don't want to redraw, select all the lines, cut and paste in place to disassociate them from Walls, then change Offset from base to 0 or whatever the eave elevation desired to be.

Attached is the revised file.
