Why is there no line between my cmu and concrete wall?

I have a cmu wall going into a concrete wall and I want to show the line between the two materials. How can I do this? See below picture.

VGO=>Walls=>Common Edges

That doesn't seem to help. Tried it on and off.

- Did you use Linework tool to apply Invisible line?  Undo it.

- Did you override the wall pattern instead of using their own material?

No linework but I did override it. Looks like that might be why. Thanks.
