Thank u for answering. It looks like that when I clicked on the in-place mass and giva a name to my mass. I can't click anywhere only on finish or cancel mass. The bar shown beside is not the massing bar and when I cancel I come back till this bar not to massing.

You are not able to click on the create tab to switch over to there?

While most buttons are grayed out  I can click on the create tab to reach the massing tools.

So if you can not switch over to the create tab something else is going on.

-Some other (new) windows open?

-Try to restart your computer and and start with a new project to see if that solves it.

-Might be that an add-in is obstructing the tools. See if you can uninstall some/all of the add-ins and see if that solves the issue.

I tried to uninstall all the adds in and apps then it works. Then i reinstall one by one and I found that when i install Autodesk.RevitExtensions.Revit or an app that called Naviate the problem will be back. I take everything from the computer and install it again but this didn't help. This problem is not exist for my 5 colleages who use the same apps as me.

So at least you can get it to work when not using some of the add-ins, that is good.

It basically looks like OOTB Revit is not the issue.

You could try to contact the maker of one of the add-ins and see if they can help you with what the issue might be.

If the same works for you colleagues I also would start to look at other things. What are the differences between your computer and those of your colleagues?

-Check versions (Revit, and the add-ins).

-Different Operating system (e.g. win 8 vs win 10)? Look for updates for your system.

-Graphics card? Try to switch of hardware acceleration in Revit (under options). LAso look for other (older or newer) drivers.

-Check other programs that might interfere (e.g firewall, virus scanner).

@Anonymous Hi

I would bet the Revit version you are using...if it's 2017.2 but the following is worth a try:

Have all add-ins installed back again and when it behaves like that again; Minimize Revit and then maximize/restore it again and see if ribbon goes back to normal.

Some add-ins seem to have been behaving weirdly with 2017.2 (ribbon locks/disappears/doesn't update/tabs concealed)....You might wanna try to reset the ribbon after the addins are installed...u do that by renaming the UIState.dat (while Revit is closed) file located in the following folder to UIState.old then start Revit and try if it works

%APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2017\ENU

(ENU for English - check the one for the language u use)
