White opaque background in nested family appears transparent in project

Hi all,

I would like to do a white background in the 2D furniture families so that when the views are set to "shaded" the floors will be grey and the furnitures in white.

I started by adding a masking region in the family but it showed transparent.

I the created a detail item family with a white opaque filled region and nested it to the furniture family - still appears transparent. Just for checking, I uploaded the detail item family straight to the project and it showed opaque.....

I've looked around the internet but couldn't find a solution for this

Thanks for helping,

Sam

Almost sounds like a graphic card issue.  Share the file here.

Add a vertical model line under invisible subcategory in the family and see what happens.

By the way, you can filled regions directly in a model family in Revit 2023.1.
