White hide line

I know it is not the proper method but there are times when you need to do some white out.  I use a thin/thick white line if there is a wall join that I have to clean up for CD set.  Is there any way to have a detail line that has a square end rather than a round end so you can hit an intersection point cleanly?  The larger the line weight, the larger the half-round end. Yes,  I know a white filled region would do that or cut profile, but was hoping there was a quicker fix.

You can do a filled region and get square corners better than you can with a wide line. Just use a very thin line for the outline. You could use the invisible line.

They stated that they use the line tool for a white line but it leaves round corners. That is why I suggested the Filled region because it can have very square corners. 

I used to do this on titleblocks to get that crisp corner edge all the time.

Your explanation is rather unnecessary. No where in my post I opposed to your suggestion.
