Where an Existing and Demo walls touch, How do I get a line to show?

For some reason I can't find a way to get the existing and demo walls to show a line where they touch.  The endcap is missing.  See the attached PNG file for a better understanding.

Select the wall to be demolished, right-click on the grip at the end of the wall, and select "Disallow join".

Is there a way to do that globally?  I have a ton of walls that need that done to.

I'm afraid not.  The automatic behavior for walls is to join.
