when zooming lines glitching / dont snap

HELLO

I'm experiencing a really weird glitch which is SUPER annoying only in the particular project. Our other projects in Revit are ok.

When zooming the lines start to glitch and jump on side so they look like they are not aligned. If you zoom even closer sometimes they appear they are aligned but if you go even closer they are next to each other or just jump on the other side. It seems to me it's happening only when editing floors or walls etc I'm talking about zooming just a tiny bit so its not super close.

I'm using revit 2017.

ensure that there is no fractions & file size below 300 mega
if u delete all lines in sketch and pic them again it will accurate
or u can move lines away and then align it to other fixed lines

I delete the line and snap them again and see image its still doing. ITS SO WEIRD.

Do you have any AutoCAD or Revit links in your file that have origins (or data) a large distance away from your Revit origin and model geometry?

Well I have two cad imports inside but I deleted them. The thing is when you import cad its really difficult to find it so there may be some lost one somewhere. No revit links.

If you make all elements visible in a view and then do a Zoom Fit/Zoom Extents, does your model shrink to very small on the screen or where you can't see it at all?  This might help to show if you have items a large distance away from your model geometry.

The symptoms that you describe are usually caused by items in a file being a far distance from the Revit origin.

yes when I zoom to all I see that evrything is on one pile. Nothing too far. Honestly I'm working in revit for 10 years and this never happened. Nobody knows what is causing the issue.

I may have a project too far from origin. How do I find out?

You can make your Project Base Point and Survey Point available to see where they are in your view and you can also query them as to their location in space.  They are both under the Site category in Visibility Graphics.

You can also temporarily link a DWG into your file Origin to Origin (an AutoCAD file with a semi-large circle at 0,0) to see where it falls relative your model elements.

I have found a solution for my situation. I relocated the project and started having this zoom/snap problem. Once I realized it was not happening in a 3D view I created, I tried creating a new floor plan instead of duplicating an existing plan and the issue was not in the new view. I think this has something to do with the "limits" of the view in revit. Once the project and all elements are relocated away from the origin, it seems to be keeping that original location within the view limits even though no elements are there. I was able to replace the problem views with new ones and apply templates, copy detailing, etc. and it fixes this for me.
