When Printing to PDF using Microsoft Print to PDF Raster Image Smears

Hello!

I am using Revit LT 2019 and I am working on a Windows 10 pc.

We like to print our plans to PDF files. At first we used Microsoft Print to PDF for this task, however doing so caused our company logo to "smear." I say smear, because when we use the Microsoft Print to PDF it takes our logo makes it appear as though strings have been drawn through it, pulling the ink and distorting the image.

We have asked for support on this issue before and received an answer from the Directly support folks.

They suggested using a different PDF writer, such as CutePDF. We started using CutePDF and the problem went away. However, CutePDF occasionally screws up when we have to print a lot of PDFs, which causes my whole computer to glitch up. The only remedy is to restart my computer. Are there any other free pdf writers that are good? Is there a workaround for using Microsoft Print to PDF? Hopefully this is the right place to ask for assistance with this. Thank you for your time!

Thank you for your response!

I've downloaded PDF Architect 7 (and it's companion PDFCreator). They definitely seem to be superior (and free!)

Thank you for the info!
