When binding links, groups have a strange excluded "Shape Handle" element

When binding links, some groups have a strange excluded element called Shape handle that I can't remove or unexclude.

When I ungroup the bound link group, nothing appears.

What is the Shape handle, and how can I get rid of it? (I have many Revit files in the library that are intended to be linked and sometimes bound...)

Here is the Shape handle tab selected in the group:

Here is my Revit group which I bound from a Revit file that had the kitchen:

Can you share this file? The one you bound? I want to test it.

I assume your Revit 2024 is up to date?

Update: I found out that if you deleted all rooms and areas in the link, but you did not remove them in rooms & areas schedules yet, they will cause this problem.

The solution is simple, just make sure you deleted all of them before binding the link, those "ghost" object will not appear anymore. I believe this is a bug which should not happen in the first place, not tested with newer version of Revit yet. Autodesk please fix it asap.
