Hi there,

I would much appreciate someone's help on this.

I am trying to add a new construction set of bi-fold doors that span over a New Construction wall and an Existing Wall. The bi-fold door set sits within the New Construction wall with no problem and cuts the wall however it doesn't not with the existing wall.

what am i doing wrong?

Is there a void or an cut opening in the door family? Can you share the file?  It should cut both by default.

Select the door, pick Primary Host and pick the existing wall.

thanks both for your answers, for some reason it doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm unable to select the existing wall after i've chosen the 'pick primary host' option.

I don't know what  could be happening. Should be easy as pie.  View Phase Filter =Show Complete?

Enable Face selection, or pick a wall edge.
