what is the best way to develop patial facade 3D?

Hi, all:

In a large size project, say 100,000sqft building. There are several building facade types. I need to develop partial 3d facades for this project. Here is what I want to do:

I want to cut the whole model and seperate it into several partial facade, then I develop them individually. How can I do this?

Almost sounds like an Assembly workflow, but it's not totally clear from your explanation.  Can you elaborate a little more on what you are trying to accomplish and document.

HI, thanks for helping out. Here is my sketch. There is a partial 3d facade drawing on the left, which is what I wan to develop.  My question is how I subtract this part from the main model( on the right) and develop it without changing the main model for now.

Just hide everything but that panel in the View.  

... if it is a 3D View, a 3D Section Box would do the trick.

1. Create a Design Option Set with 2 options and add the Facade element to both options
   
   • First Option: The Primary facade (coarse) as is in the model not changed - Set as Primary
   • Second Options: The One you intend to develop (detailed)
2. Create a new view for the Elevation you intend to develop 
   • Go to visibility Graphics >> Design Option Tab 
   • Set the Option Set to Design Option 2
3. In the view Isolate The Facade
4. Develop it as needed
5. Overlay both Options/views (The coarse facade + the detailed/developed facade) on a sheet

"Develop them" how?  Sounds like you are at the documentation stage, not the "developing" stage, since the panels are already placed and interacting with adjacent panels and building elements.   Obviously at this point, further "development" of the individual panels is limited.
