What is best Site Designer or Massing & Site

Hello There

So I am wondering what your views and recommendation are whether it is worth learning Site Designer.

Is it a dead-end plug-in? or will it keep developing with Revit?

With Revits updates would you say that the software is now sustainable enough that the plug-in is not necessary.

I have looked on the internet but without any recent post regarding it, most dating back to 2014-2015.

Any views, experience, help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Roberta, They are complementary softwares Massing and site has limited use, as to level of detail for site modeling, however it is extremely easy to use and highly editable. You can even use Dynamo to better modle it. It can be modled based on CAD curves or surfaces, so its even more practical. Site Designer on the other hand lets you define size of your streets, and number of lanes. It uses your site modled in massing and site, to further detail it and make it more precise Hope you liked my feedback (Kudos, and/or accept as answer!)
