what if i delete the associated files?

hello there, i have saved revit files but few times later it shows the associated files which are big sized and those really take my space. Would it be significantly affects my works if i delete the associated files?

What are associated files? Do you mean backup files 001, 002, etc? If so,
yes you can delete them.

Those are the backup files for non-workshared projects and families.

You should NOT delete them all...instead, you could

• Under Options Increase the save reminder interval

• The project, Save As and set the project or family to keep fewer backups (set it to 2 instead of 20)

•  And if they bother you being in the same folder you can move them to another folder (manually or using a .bat)
