dear all
I have uselessly tried to understand how to use softwares and notepad to create a custom pattern for Revit, to no avail.
I urgently need to use a herringbone pattern for a floor, designed as follows:
- vertical tile: 1200 mm x 300 mm
- horizontal tile: 600 mm x 300 mm
- Angles 0° and 90°
Each short side of any horizontal tile is common with a part of the long side of a vertical tile.
I.e. every short tile is "contained" within two long tiles, which "touch" the short side of the short tile. This way, despite the tiles have different lengths, they form a symmetrical herringbone pattern.
I hope I could explain what I mean but please see the picture.
Would anyone please give me the .pat definition for this design?
Thanks a lot
