I have these weird arrows in some of my views in Revit 2020. I can't select them and I don't know what they're called.
I started getting these today, I think its because I'm using a trial version of Revit. I was having issues activating my license so I just started a trial while I figure out the licensing issues.

I'm not seeing where one can turn this off under the Massing and Site tab. I must be looking in the wrong place. Would you mind being a little more explicit ToanDN. This would be a HUGE help.

Mike

I'm pretty sure that when you look into it that it only affects upgraded projects.
BTW, the complaint department is down the hall and to the left.

Allright, good to know - never update Revit while working in a project 😂 Thanks for insightful comment, Rob!

For new models started in 2020 it is not on by default but unfortunately for upgraded models, the IO is not switched off automatically and when your client decides or when other stakeholders upgrade a running project I guess one has no other option but to upgrade.
@SteveKStaffordhas posted a solution for this on his blog including the dynamo graph which you can download to turn the IO off in upgraded models...

FWIW...the developers/product managers went back and forth between making the new feature available in this update or waiting for the next full release. In the end they decided, that since people have been asking for this stuff for a long time, they'd make it available sooner than later. They can control the process with upgraded files and turn it off. A file that is not being upgraded (2020 files) doesn't go through the same process so they end up being visible.
They gambled and lost on this one. They found out quite quickly that a lot of people were annoyed by this new feature instead of being glad it was there. I used it as an excuse to get more comfortable with Dynamo...making some fresh lemonade with my lemons. 🙂
