Walls don't get attached to the sloping floor

Hello,

I've read several topics on attaching walls but none of them seems to be helpful and I meet this case pretty often recently.

I have somewhat "floating" roof to model and the only way I keep my walls reaching it is by attaching it. The building has 3 storeys. Sometimes during modelling, I change something in the boundary lines in one of the the storey's floor - and then those attached walls often detach. And this even is not the case - I attach them again and it works, but there are some wallS that simply do not abide by the command - even changing the "top constraint" to a particular level keeps them unchanged o.O

Where I make a mistake?

Try Detach Top/Base and then Attach Top/Base. If that doesn't work, select the wall, copy it to clipboard, paste it aligned-to-same-place and Attach Top/Base.

Are you saying the Walls become detached from the roof when you modify the floor? And that these modifications you make have no affect on the walls (e.g. the wall don't move)?  And, what do you mean by "floating" roof?

One trick is using a ref-plane to attach walls. Create a ref-plane at the bottom of the floor. Select the wall. Click 'Attach top/base' and select the ref-plane. Especially handy for those elements not able to attach walls, like stairs.
