Wall types and Materials

I have an exterior wall Type that needs to display 2 different materials on either side, the attached image shows the highlighted wall which needs to display the adjacent wall (gray horizontal stripe pattern) Aluminum Panel which in this case would be the interior portion of the wall finish, the exterior finish is currently showing. any ideas of why this is not working for me? any help is appreciated thank you

Could it be as simple as flipping the wall in plan?

Hi,

As @PhilvK says you can easy locate the exterior side in plan with the two arrows. The two arrows are always from the exterior side of the wall.

by the wall type definition the materials are placed in the correct order and the wall is positioned correctly so flipping the wall would not have the correct result it does not seem to be recognizing the right image applied to the material

delete and redraw the wall and it now displays correctly

Hi,

The Appearance asset is displayed in realistic visual style and in rendering. The image above (in the first post) is shaded. So you can see only the Shading from the left image with the Surface Pattern.
