I am starting a drawing under architectural template, when I click on the ribbon wall tool, and go to wall style: basic wall: Generic instead of showing me wall generic - 12" it is showing me these weird numbers next to the walls. Please help me change this back to show wall generic - 12"

It is a different wall type with a different name. If you want a basic 12" wall then you can either create a wall with 12" thickness or copy the wall types via transfer projects standards from the architectural template.

What you are seeing there is the Wall Types from the Metric Template whereby the 102 is mm for a standard brick width and all other numerical values relate to layer thickness in mm.

When opening a project click on Browse

Find the correct Template in the Region you need, (you may have to go up a folder level here from "Look In")

Don't forget to re-path your file Location in the Option Dialogue so they show when creating a new project.

You can check what you have installed from the Control Panel > Programs and Features
