Wall Surface Pattern not showing

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have three sections lined up on one sheet that all look to the same back wall which has a brick surface. The section closest to the brick wall and the section farthest from the brick wall both display the brick as a grey hatch. But on the section taken between the two, the brick doesn't show at all, no matter what I try. This is what I've checked so far:

- far clip offset goes past the wall on all three sections (the nanawall and transom to the left of the wall are on the plane behind it and they appear in all three sections)

- there are no graphic overrides applied to the wall in any of the sections

- there is nothing (ie another wall or object) between the section plane and the wall that I can ascertain

Any ideas on how to get the brick to show?

Sorry - I meant to note that all of the sections are on 'medium' detail level. I tried changing the middle one to 'fine' just in case, but nothing changed.

No difference when I try the 'coarse' setting.

Just a guess---

-Any Phasing? Try setting Phase Filter of the view to Show Complete.

-Design Options?

FYI--Detail Level does not control surface patterns.

No depth cueing isn't applied to any of the sections (although I've never used depth cueing before so thanks for clueing me into it!)

Are you sure the Walls category surface pattern is ON?

That's it! I'm not sure why that was turned off in that section and not the others, but that did it!

Thanks you, same thing happened to me - I probably turned it off some time ago to hide blockwork pattern and forgot to turn it back on again

How do you get to the Walls category surface pattern? I can't find where to turn on "visible."

I know this question was asked several years ago but the solution did not help my situation.  The pattern visibility is turned on.  I have three views of a bathroom one of the views will not print the tile pattern and the other two do....any suggestions?

I should also add that you can see the pattern in the view but when printing to pdf it disappears.

Yes, same thing happened to me. When I cut a wall and changed one side to a different wall type, that wall type does not show the pattern, yet the other existing walls show the patterns in elevation.
