Wall reveals showing through solid objects in elevation view.

I'm having an issue where the wall reveal lines are showing through solid objects in the elevation views.  I've included some screen captures to show what I'm talking about.

I've checked the visibility settings of the view, the visibility settings of the category and of the family.  I thought maybe it was because the downspouts were attached to the wall face but the reveals are also showing through the bollards which are set away from the wall face.  I'm at a loss.

I would appreciate any help.

What is the view's discipline?  Is it Hidden or Wireframe?

View's discipline is Architectural.  Hidden Line.  This issue is limited to just the wall reveals.  I don't have an issue with other lines showing through solid objects.

Did you use Linework tool on the Reveals?  Use it again but choose <By Category> and see what happens.

I did use the Linework tool on the reveals! So use the LW tool again but choose <By Category>? How do I do that?

Thank you! Is there a way to use the LW tool and not have that happen or is that just the way it is?

It can be done on elevation/section view but it is quite tedious: when you use Linework tool on the elevation you will see a blue dot at each end and you can drag the dot to control the extent of the overridden linework.  

Another way is using Linework tool reversely:  VG and set the Walls category Projection Lines to a thinner line weight, then use Linework tool to apply thicker line to Wall elevation lines, but not Reveals.
