Wall Legend in Sheet

Hello. I want to include a wall legend in the side note of the sheet.

The wall legend is a small cropped window of the wall so it can offer a visual description of it.

Which should be best way to do it?

Are you trying to make this a parameter in the titleblock? or Just wanting to draw a section of the wall at higher detail?

I am not sure that I understand what is the difficulty you are facing.

Normally, you use a “legend view” in order to create a specfic view of the building elements (that do not belong to the model) and thus not affecting the quantities and scheduling. To do so, you need to create the “legend view” and then use the project browser to drag and drop families into the “legend view”. You can choose their length and if you wish to see the building element in section or plan.
Keep in mind that:

• tagging does not work on walls in “legend views” so you need to use the text tool to right the wall family and type name.
• you can use the same legend view in more than one sheet (this is also possible for schedules but not with other type of views). So you can use the same legend in all your sheets, but you have to manually insert the legend views in each sheet.
