Wall joins in material takeoff

ello, i have a little question, i am trying to do a material takeoff schedule, and noticed that the wall finishes are calculated regardless the wall joins. See first image a simple wall with an interior finish area. After other walls are drawn, the wall finish area should be minus the wall join* wall height, but in the end the quantity is the same as before. On a large project, there is a big difference in material takeoff.

Can somebody suggest a more exact workaround? 🙂

Its not just about the joins, the wrapping of the finish is not calculated. You need some hard-core plugin to make this work.

What about Parts?

You can use an Addin of Revit- free for subscriptioner : Buildingbook Extension , a part of Quantification...it will solve the problem.

I just manage to find the 2016 version,  where can i find the 2018 version?

if you ask me where can you find Roombook Extension, then ,you have to go to your Autodesk Account > Management > Product Updates....you'll find it there ...(for Revit 2017 and Revit 2018)

Ok, but.... I'm working with IFC... this app will not work.

Considering IFC, there'is nothing to do.... ?

I know that i can use PARTS, it will calculate correctly.. but, parts dont turn in the wall...
