Wall join anomoly

I have a really strange anomoly when I'm trying to join a wall-to-wall-to-roof. I have a concrete beam, supporting the edge of a flat roof w/ concrete structure, and a small CMU wall on top of that. If I place a section anywhere along that connection along the beam and look at the connection everythings meets correctly, the concrete structures join, the CMU sits on the concrete, and the other finish/thermal layers end where I intend them too... except one small area (maybe 6" wide) in the middle of the beam.

I posted 2 screenshots. The 3D screenshot shows the flat roof finish layer meeting the CMU parapet style wall and terminating. It also shows that the both of the CMU runs along the beam uninterrupted (I drew a line where the section is placed). The section view however shows a rectangular element sat between the concrete roof structure and the CMU wall. If I place a section anywhere else on this wall the detail looks fine, except for the one small area where this weird rectangular element is in the way. I've tried multiple ways to tab select, section box, and hide elements to figure out what is happening here but I'm stuck.

Check if any element in another phase.  If not, detach the wall base and attach it again  to the flat roof.  Or detach and join geometry to the flat roof.

Use you Unjoin Geometry / Uncut Geometry tools and see if they detect a Join/Cut.

Post the File it you want. We'll find out where that bad boy is coming from.

Thanks for the replies. I did try un-joining and joining elements without success... however, I realigned the roof footprint to the structure of the wall on other faces of the building and it mysteriously fixed itself. Still don't know what it was though. Glitch maybe.

Thank you everybody
