Wall in section is showing wall end in elevation

Using Revit Lt

I have four external walls, in the long section the wall construction is showing correctly with all the layers. In the cross section the wall construction layers are not showing & instead is showing the external elevation hatch across the full width.

Can't figure out why, it's the same wall type?

Any suggestions?

Not like anyone here can see what you're looking at... post some pictures and/or the model (zip).

Move your section line - it could be cutting through the wall or showing the elevation.

Maybe it's just showing coarse fill pattern.

If your view is in coarse, change detail level in view to Medium or Fine, or do it in "Detail Level" column in Visibility/Graphic Overrides dialog for Walls category.

Its the external wall on the left hand side. I can upload the model if needed?

Do you have timber portals or posts in the walls?  It appears that youe section is cutting through the timber post.  Try and move your section line.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I copied the wall and deleted the original and it sorted the problem.

Your problem lies in Wall-Roof join.

If you switch join order of that wall and "Roof_Barn A_lower layers", it will show correctly in the section A-A.

Why that happens, I don't know.

But, I see you have a lot of Warnings in your model, you should really consider clearing them out, maybe one of them are causing this glitch.

I've just done the same, but it seems to go blank when I try to join to the roof?

(I have two roofs (one on top of the other) to split the layers so they adjoin the wall at the verge properly- not the tidiest but its to work the easiest.)

I've just changed the rafter cut type of the lower roof layers to Two-Cut plumb with a 350mm fascia depth & now seems to let me join the wall to the roof - bizarre!
