Wall and beam intersection

Hello,

I have an issue with architectural walls intersecting structural beams. I have attached the walls to the concrete structural floor, but they are not cut by the concrete beams. When I select the walls, the portion that is intersected by the beam is not highlighted, suggesting that Revit knows not to take that portion into account. But if I make a section, they seem to overlap. Is there a way to make this look ok?

Thank you!

Join Order? I'm not sure what I'm looking at your view, but it sounds like you're describing the Join Order. Reverse it.

Actually, joining the walls and the beam did the trick. I thought there might be something else to it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Glad I could assist. Wish I had gotten that green check-mark though. Smiley Wink

Nice to send to you more stuff to be understood from me dear man... what is the manner to switch this order if the Beam couldn t be selected at that point? I also would like to say is there an option to use parts for cutting and positioning between them elements nice and tidy for example if I need to prepare a Platform Frame interaction?

Hello 🙂
Same issue here: I want to cut the part of the wall that intersects with the beam and similarly the column with the floor any of the cut or join tools doesn't allow me to select the second element. I've checked and the wall is settled as structural like the beam. Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?
