Void extrusion in nested family

In have created a face based grille family. And created a generic void family. The void family is nested in grille family. But it is not cutting the host.
What will be the solution for this

If the nested void family is a non host family, then you must check Cut with void when loaded under family category option of the void family. When loaded in the grille family, you must use Cut geometry to cut the geometry with the nested void.

If the nested family is a face based family, use Cut geometry and cut the solid with the void within the nested family. Then when loaded in the grille family and place on a face, the void will cut the geometry automatically.

Post the grille family if you need further demonstration.

Thanks for the reply.. just a another query, can we give the visibility to
the nested void so that I can control it in the project.

Currently you cannot assign a visibility parameter to a void.  The workaround is give the void a dimension parameter to control whether the void cut the host or not.

Yes the void cut the host.
but the problem Is that I am assigning a visibility parameter to it. But
whenever I am loading it in project it is not shows the end result.

Again, visibility parameter does not work with void. Please read what I wrote above.
