Visiblity/Graphics problems....

Using Revit 6.1.....i have created an electrical plan using as my connecting wires. I also have in that same electrical plan drawing. I then duplicated the drawing for my plumbing plan without the detailing. I want to use those same and lines for my plumbing plan. How do i turn off those lines that i used on my electrical plan and still be able to use them for my plumbing plan.? I have tried going into View>Visibility/Graphics.. and turning them off in the plumbing plan drawing. This works, however, i am not able to use these lines for my piping. When going into help, it says that there is a Design Options tab at the top, but i only have Model Categories...Annotation Categories...and DWG/DXF/DGN Categories....i wondered if i have an outdated version, but then why would Help tell me this way? Thanks for taking the time to read...your help is greatly appreciated.

You need to create new linestyles for your diff. types of lines if you want to beable to turn them off separately.

Site lines are a good example,
I typ create
Site-Thin
Site-Med
Site-Wide

That way I can turn off just the site lines and not the other lines.

Same thing with your situation, create new linestyles, ie
plumbing- thin,med, wide
elec.-thin,med,wide.
