Visibility of Scan Regions from ReCap within Revit

I have created Regions within Recap however when I insert the point cloud into revit the regions are not visible in the Visibility / Graphics dialogue. I only have scan locations.

Where have i gone wrong?

I am a newbie to revit but have 20+ years drafting and modelling.

Scan regions display in the tree structure only if the point cloud file was created using ReCap

The point cloud file was created in Recap but the regions don’t appear in the tree at all.
It must be something stupid I have not switched or switched but I cant for the life of me work it out.

Thanks for your reply

Can you explain precisely what "if the point cloud file was created using ReCap" means? Considering that ReCap doesn't run scanners it can't natively create the point clouds in any case. I don't know how you would create a ReCap project without using ReCap to make it. So, this instruction isn't helpful if there is some specific scenario where it won't work.
