view template mismatch floor plan

Hi,

I have created several floor plans and then assigned view templates with appropriate names  in the type properties. (Plumbing floor plan - plumbing view template,  Hydronics floor plan - hydronics view template). 

However, when I go exactly to a floor plan, view templates do not match the floor plan (as shown below in red). 

How can I fix it, so the view template automatically changes according to the floor plan?

I'm saying: create a brand new Floor Plan and it will use that template. It doesn't work retroactively.

Egan BIM Resources has an app for that. This is a free app.

It is called Project Startup and is available from the Egan BIM Resources web site or the Apps Exchange.

From the Help file:
Automatically Swap View Template When View Type Is Changed
If a View Type has a “View Templates applied to new views” setting, and “New views are dependent on template” is checked, the app will automatically apply the correct view template whenever a view’s View Type is changed.

Same problem here... Would be very nice to change the Flor Type and automatically change de View Template...

I just discovered this. Check out Egan Project Startup, they seem to have a fix to change view templates by type even retroactive views already created..

I found it browsing the market Autodesk App Store a few days ago. There is plenty of great tools but installing too many tends to hinder my Revit workflow rather then optimize it. Apologies on the redundancy, I didn't realize it was already shared above.
