View Reference Inside of Curtain Panel Tag

Hi All,

I am looking at creating a custom tag for a curtain panel family. I have all the parameters I need, but the client is asking if there is a way to have a view reference inside of the tag. I told them that I did not think this was possible, but I wanted to ask the experts to make sure!

What I want is this. A curtain panel tag that displays in elevation views, with all the necessary panel information. But when I create a new type of curtain panel I can link it to a drafting view that would display all of the assembly details. Is this even possible? Basically, I just need view reference parameters inside of a curtain panel tag.

I need this!  I would like to the ability to tag items in my model then double click on the tag to take me to a detail of that item.  But we can't add view information to tags and we can't tag with section cuts.  I know of no work arounds.
