View Range Setting - Can't View Layers Below

Hi Everyone, I'm still kind of a newbie to Revit. I took one class last year and wanted to use Revit to create sections for a modeling final. The problem I'm facing is when I am working in my roof floor plan, I can't see anything below. I have searched every forum I could find and tried nearly every solution I could. But nothing is working. 

I have attached what my view range and underlay settings are right now on the roof plan. I have 2 floors below that I am working on and it would be extremely useful to be able to see them no matter what floor plan I am on.

So far I have changed my View Range Settings, changed underlay settings, tried changing and switching the view templates, set the phase filter to none, changed the visual style, and toggled hidden lines.

If anyone has any other ideas or solutions, I would be very grateful. Thank you!

Turn on Underlay and set it to a level below.  Or set the view to Wireframe.

Thank you for the response. Sadly I have tried that already, I've edited the underlay and view range to every possible setting in my drawing.

Here is what it looks like now, underlay is on, looking down from the roof level into level 1 (the lowest level I have drawn on), wireframe is on, and my view range is unbounded looking down.

It is because your Primary Range is set to Unlimited so it trumps the Underlay.  Change the Primary Bottom and View Depth to Roof (or slightly lower to capture the lowest point of your roof, but NOT Unlimited.

Because you are in a ceiling plan.  You're looking UP. There is no DOWN.  Bottom and Depth are actually above the Cut Plane.
