VIEW RANGE IN BASEMENT CEILINGT PLAN

book tells me to create a basement ceiling plan. np

says will look a little funny so i have to adjust the view range

click modify and then set view range to 6'6" wont let me do it.

I use the same textbook.

The view range by default is at 7'-6", which puts it into the first floor. That is what you are currently seeing in your ceiling plan. Make sure nothing is selected (the book tells you to click Modify, I usually just hit Escape twice). Then you should be able to select Edit... next to View Range, then adjust the Cut plane to 6'-6". I was able to do it to your file so I am betting you will be able to as well!2020-10-26_13-55-14.jpg
