View Break is not working properly

I have been trying to a door and window schedule and with the view break function off the elevations. I am trying to move 3 view breaks so i am able to dimension 3 doors as shown in the screenshot. Whenever I view break them i cannot make the crop regions independant when i move the view region. Please help as this is driving me crazy.

can you attach the file so I can look at it...you should by default, be able to select any one of the round, blue grips to adjust the crop regions independent of one another...

@Anonymous Hi

i have checked your file, and it is working as it should. With the perfiferic grips they are resizing the way thy should and with the center slider they are sliding left right!,,

Maybe I didn't understand what u are trying to do exactly!

Reading you Original Post again, What do you mean by making them independent?

I have the three sliding doors that i require to separate to fit evenly on a A3 sheet. In the Elevation 1 copy 1 I have split the crop view but am unable to evenly setup each crop view evenly on a sheet. Currently when i move the left crop box it also moves the other two also.

Im not sure you can achieve that with only one view...when you split the crop view, the maximum you can slid the parts away is the width of the original crop box. when you slid it further then the second split will follow.

when we split long elevations we

  1. create 2 or 3 dependent views
  2. then we resize the crop on each
  3. place matchline on the original
  4. place sheet view
  5. then place the dependent view on the sheet

But it usually we don't split them to place on one sheet...
