Two approaches come to mind.
- You could make each vertical element a Wall Sweep. See the image below. This would be easy to set up: you would simply need to use/create a profile family, load that profile family into the project, then apply it to Wall Sweep element via the Wall Sweep's type properties. Select "Vertical" on the Contextual Tab before placing a Wall Sweep. You would then copy the Wall Sweeps over as many times as you need. You could even Array the Wall Sweep if you want (use the "Last" selection in the Array's option bar). Be sure to apply an appropriate material to the Wall Sweeps.
- You could make a separate family (I would make it wall-hosted) of whatever category (if it were me doing it this way, I would choose Generic Models category). It could be a Sweep or Extrusion. You would then load this into the project file and place it next to the wall, copying or arraying it as you deem best. Be sure to make a Materials parameter.

If it were me, I would go with option 1, using Wall Sweeps, because the tool will do exactly what you want. I've heard some people say they don't like Wall Sweeps though, so I gave option 2 in case you prefer using a custom family and having the extra liberties it could give you if you build the family with extra capabilities 🙂
