Hi
I am working on a project that consists of 3 houses on a shared site. I have created separate revit files for each house and then for the site. I need to model the terrain now so I am trying to link all 3 models to the site model. My confusion comes when adjusting each file's survey point, project base point and true/project north directions. What is the right sequence of steps doing it so that I can set this whole thing up properly first? I guess I can keep working on the separate building files and the terrain and update accordingly by relinking them to the main site model in the process.
I have currently set all the survey points to 0, the project base points of each building and their orientations are correct in each individual building file. I now created a site model file with both the survey point and project base pont set to 0 and some levels for the buildings to align with their respective project base points. Here comes my confusion on how to continue without messing up all this while sharing their coordinates.
If someone could share a proper workflow I would be very thankful.
Thanks
