Using Revit LT 2015 with Revit 2015

We are considering upgrading from AutoCAD LT to Revit LT.

Wondering though, how things would work if all our computers had Revit LT for everyday use, with one render machine that had the full Revit suite for access to all features.  I imagine there will be a lot of things we can only do on the render machine in addition to rendering. Also, if things were added to the file through the full Revit suite then reopened in LT, are there issues going backwards to LT? For instance adding lighting systems with the full version then continuing work in the LT version.

What are your thoughts, and do you have any suggestions as to how to set us up with Revit.  We are trying to save a bit of money, but need to make sure it will all be worth it. Any help would be great. Thank you.
