Using Revit 2019 to open 2014/2015 models

Hi,

Has Autodesk released a fix which will allow users to open a Revit 2014/15 model direct with 2019. Or do we still have to use older versions to upgrade the file?

If nothing has been released, how do other users tackle the issue of a master file being upgraded from 2014/15 to Revit 2019 by one user, for then original user wanting to reuse the model at a lower version?

You can probably upgrade the models over multiple versions without problems.

Revit has no backwards compatibility.

..but it would still have to save multiple models to 2018, then reopen at 2019?

So then the user who created the model wouldnt be able to open the file after I have opened in 2019?

Not if they don't have 2019 or later.
