Using region masking

Hello

I´m having problems with seeing the structure beam system underneath my patio, I have been trying to use region masking and it only shows my white (see attached picture)  underneath the patio. I´m student and new to Revit if anybody has an idea what I could be doing wrong I would appreciate the help.

best regards Skúli

Are you sure you don't mean to use a "Plan Region"? A Masking Region will block out whatever is underneath it in the view. A Plan Region will allow you to specify a different View Range for the area it covers in the view. Plan Regions are located on the View Create panel under Plan Views.

To see the beams under the patio in the view, lower your View Range.

BTW, I see the beams fine in your jpg. I also see a circular Masking Region blocking out everything below it. What is the issue?
