Update 1 for Revit 2014 Already?

I don't see that the service pack is released on the web site... but I am in the process of building a deployment... It shows that Autodesk Revit 2014 64-bit Update 1 is available. I downloaded it and it says the 'Service Pack is ready for install'

Hi,

We are using the English version and the French version of Revit 2014 and although the update is indeed available in the English deployment image, it doesn not appear in the French deployment image, as you can see in the attached image.

And also, the MSP file name is rvt2014ur11.msp, which suggests something more like Update Release 1.1?!

I am going to apply manually the same patch to the French installation of Revit 2014 in order to see if  I get the same build (see the other attache image).

Regards,

Constantin

Good morning

Update Release 1 is actually language independent and the same executable can be used to install UR1 on English and French versions of Revit 2014.  Currently this update is only available through Live Update in the English version of Revit 2014 but it will be available in other languages shortly.  The delay comes from the need to translate the readme file as well as the description that is displayed on web page from which the update is downloaded.

In regards to the MSP file name, the tool we use to upload updates automatically increments the executable file name and allows an official file name to be assigned.  Typically the incremented file name is not visible outside of Autodesk but when the MSP file is extracted from the executable, it retains the incremented file name and not the official name.  If you want to verify that the correct update has been installed, check the build number in the About dialog, which should be 20130709_2115 or 20130709_2115(x64).

The list of fixes is no longer included in the readme but rather a separate enhancements document, which is available from the update's download page.  The download pages for Revit 2014 Update Release 1 and the associated enhancement documents should be available shortly on the Autodesk support site.
