Revit Lines!!!.jpg

Does anyone know how to get rid of all of these lines?

My drawing was normal yesterday when i saved and now today it's all chaos. I have tried the back up files and they all have the same glitch.

Help Please.

It's caused by a loose nut behind the keyboard. Just tighten it up.

...Sorry; I couldn't resist.

Anyways, just highlight to identify the offending line work and then simply shut it off by category or element.

It seems as though Revit keeps showing the hidden lines as well.

Possible solutions:

  1. Check you view settings
  2. Try to create a new view.
  3. Check your graphics card (try turning hardware acceleration off)
  4. How much memory do you have? It could be the case that Revit doesn't have enough memory available and has a hard time drawing the view.
  5. Open your file with the Audit option selected. (I've had something similar in the past, and there seemed to be something corrupted in the file.)

If it is just the default 3d view try deleting it and re-creating. That may clear up the issue.

As @loboarch suggested...sometimes a 3D view gets corrupted, and it doesn't necessarily mean it is the default view.  Deleting and recreating usually does the trick.  Suggest recreating first, then deleting, that way you can eyeball exactly where the corrupted view is to the new one.

If what you see in your view is "ghosting" and it is in all the 3D views, I agree with the suggestions that it's Graphics related. It happens to me every now and then. Reinstalling Graphics Driver always fixes it.
